Yahoo's rules are usually "he has to start 5 games [consecutively] and appear that he will continue to be playing the position for extended mintutes"

Still took almost all of last year for J.Johnson to get PG and J.Oneal to get Center status (yet is Boozer really a FC?)

Whatever...it is a bit wacky.

The only way Howard becomes "Shaq-like" is if teams start fouling him 15 times a game. The only reason O'Neal brings down the FT% is because of his attempts - Howard hasn't gotten there (yet) as he hasn't been a vital part of the offense. Time will tell...

The question I'm struggling with now is... what if McGrady has an amazing, pain-free preseason? He might be worth pick #9. And what if you want McGrady but have pick #6 or so? He won't be available in the middle of the 2nd. And if McGrady's going to play all year, that might sap Yao's value -- his numbers only really exploded with McGrady out.

Also, if Dwight Howard shoots something like 62% FT with a Shaq-like number of attempts, owning him will be a big problem. I think people will reach for him in the 2nd, though.

I like Team I's percentages. Lots of quesiton marks on L... I'd be most nervous with that team, or with H, or C's Stoudemire problem. And I'd say Team B looks like the most fun to own, for some reason.

if howard gets C eligibility, I'd definitely put him into the 3rd round. who knows with Yahoo! though...

and j - those "if's" are why we play the game!

Look at G and H...G- if felton plays like he did the second half and VC stays healthy...very good team and H - if AK plays 65 plus games...wow!

I noticed that Dwight Howard started at C for Orlando in the last game. Is this something that you expect will continue, and, more importantly, where would he rank in your list so far if he were to gain Center eligibility?

I would've went Howard over Camby and just prayed that he got C-eligibilty eventually. Even if Kaman would have to be your C1, you'd get solid C stats from your PF - plus a Wilcox/Frye/Dalembert wouldn't kill him.

Especially if R. Wallace gets C'd eventually...he'd then have Wallace & Howard....not a bad combo given the roll of the dice and a little patience.

Looks good. my only differences would've been at the end of the round..
I may've gone with
B.Wallace over Boozer
Jamison over Webber
C.Butler over J.Smith
