I dropped Bonzi a few days ago. He's not even dressing, and I'm not convinced there will be enough numbers to go around in Houston behind Yao, McGrady, Battier and Alston. If McGrady does down, it's a different story.

If you can do that deal, do it. Billups is great and Wilcox is solid, but Brand is one of the top superstars in fantasy. Like Jeremy said it would help to know more details, but I'd be include to do that deal.

Probably, though it does depend on how deep your league is at. Brand is by far the best player in the deal, though he has underperformed so far this year. Wilcox is a player that is just above the level of a FA pickup, so it doesn't really hurt you to lose him as a throw-in.

I'd probably want to know more about your team before making a recommendation (H2H, Roto, etc.), but I would like getting Brand in that deal.

Thanks for all the replies. Would you move Billups and Wilcox to try to get Brand? I'd still have Jameer, Knight, and Barbosa at PG.

OK, let's see what we got here.

Nazr has been very frustrating so far -- BV can tell you all about that -- because his rate stats are fine, even after last night's total debacle. But 20 mpg ain't cutting it. Even per 30 he's averaging 11.6 and 10.5 with 2.1 blocks. Those are #1 center numbers. But he has to earn Flip's trust. 18 or fewer minutes in 3 of the last 4 is bad news. I can't play someone who gets that little PT.

It will take both Williams and Simmons a while to get back into the swing of things. I like Williams better if only beacuse the Hawks have more incentive to play him and further his development. Both are FAs in my 12x13 league, but I'll be keeping my eye on both.

Wilcox over Bynum, for sure. Bynum's got that young stud upside, but Wilcox is getting his minutes and is starting to be the double-double machine we thought he'd be. I'll address Al Jefferson a bit on Monday.

Wallace will turn it on eventually, I think. Those steals and blocks have a tendency to come in bunches. I'd still rather have him than Josh Howard, who is also injury-prone and a bit overrated in fantasy to begin with.

IC, that's a big trade to make so early in the season. Personally, I don't like to shake things up so much early on. It's a tempting deal -- usually getting 3 for 2 isn't a good idea, but all three of those players are solid. That said, Ginobili is overrated, Miller's hurt and Camby's bound to be hurt. Terry is easily the most reliable option.

Etan Thomas is at best a #2 center in deep leagues. We're Wiz fans, trust us. He'll have an occasional big game, but he's not a real option. I'll cover lots of popular free agent options in tomorrow's column.

Wat about eddy curry. will he even get 15pts, 7reb. if he gets that i'm fine.

wat about perkins and gomes. who will benefit more from al jefferson's injury, and should i pick one of them up for someone i talked about above.

thanks.

ps. i think you guys should do a buy low, sell high collumn. it would really help out for trades and stuff.

One last issue...what is the deal with Gerald Wallace this year? I know that you guys at FBB had him pegged as a "bust", but exactly how much of a bust do you expect him to be? Would you trade Josh Howard for him, because I think I might propose that deal soon.

Wallace was a beast last year in the defensive cats, but with a healthy Okafor and May back, I'm not sure if he'll get as much stats as he did last year. What do you guys think about him vs. Howard... not to mention G.Wallace's injury history?

Thanks.

Oh, and in addition to Marvin and Bobby, how do you think Al Jefferson is going to do this year? Will he put up better numbers than say, Darko, Nenad, or Wilcox? Thanks.
