ok, lots of good questions here, i'll try and hit some of the major points:

Felton will be fine. I hope. After all, I own him. I think he may not be as good as the second half of last year but he's still going to be a fine 2nd PG. Plus, if/when brevin knight gets dealt, his value could skyrocket.

You can't drop Wallace yet. i mean, he was your 4th round pick!! (or something close to it). Dropping a guy that you took that early is just too drastic a move. stash him on your bench if you must but we're not even a month into the season. I'd certainly e4ntertain trade offers, though.

Bublitchki, I don't like the way the season is going for Z either but, like wallace, you can't drop him yet. instead, try and swing a 2-for-1 deal to clear up a roster spot, and pick up Krstic.

As for Nazr, he's playingn bad for sure, but I'm giving him some more time as well. And why would you pick up PJ Brown? he just lost his starting spot!

heres what ill say. in a shallow league, having wallace hurts alot less than it would in a 12x13, in which youd have to suffer though wallaces slumps because you couldnt drop him.

in an 8x11 theres a crapload of talent out there, id say drop Z for krstic, but have a quick trigger if Z does ANYTHING positive. does your league have a max moves limit? i dont think you can call it a season with gerald wallace yet, dotn drop him.

To answer an earlier question upthread re: the availability of Wilcox/Krstic on my league's wire:

It's a pretty shallow league; 8 teams, weekly H2H. I'm used to playing in much deeper leagues, and I confess that I'm finding it a bit of a challenge this year to keep my bearings with so much quality talent available via waivers.

Here's my team:

PG: Paul, Bibby, D. Williams, Barbosa
SG: J. Howard, Josh Smith, G. Wallace
SF: KG, AK47
PF: D. Howard, Odom
C: Ilgauskas

Obviously, I'm thin at SG and very thin at C. In that earlier post, I expressed my frustration with Big Z and his 20 mins/gm & wondered whether I should drop him for either Wilcox or Krstic. Although Andy advised against it, I'm still considering it. My sense is that Mike Brown - who learned his craft under Poppovich - is taking a page from his mentor's book and conserving Z for the postseason. If this is in fact the case then Z's days as a top 50 player are most likely behind him. Given that Krstic & Wilcox both figure to get more burn for the rest of the year, I think they could wind up being upgrades.

Another possibility is dropping Gerald Wallace. With each passing game, it's becoming more apparent that Wallace's numbers last year may well have been an aberration. A healthy Okafor certainly has made inroads into his production. And it looks like the Bobcats' desire to showcase their marquee rookie, Adam Morrison, is costing Wallace some floor time as well.

As always, though, I'm eager to read whatever input the members of the FBB community may have. so fire away!

I wouldn't necessarily sell on Martin, as I think he will continue to put up very similar numbers all year long. I owned Brad Miller and Ron Artest last year, and thus was very interested in the outcome of Sacramento games. One nice thing about Adleman was that he would play starters 40 minutes per game. While this is no longer the case, the starters still get average burn.

Martin was very impressive last year, and since we all knew he would be the unquestioned starter, that is why he was such a good sleeper. His %'s are great and he can steal and rebound at a decent clip as well. Overall...he's not leaving my bench unless I get a really good offer. It's hard to find a guard who helps in FG% percentage like he does.

Andy: I know that you picked up Mobley, but I would have preferred Ricky Davis to him, as I also previously expressed. He just can't continue to shoot as poorly as he did the first few games, and as evidenced by his last, 27 PT performance, he will obviously get his #'s (I too think 15/5/5 with 1.2 stls and .8 3ptm is about right). At WORST, he is the #3 option on the court and would really have great value if KG or James were to get hurt.

Mobley is still going strong, but I wonder how long that will last. Notice also that Clippers are using many 3-guard lineups right now to compensate for Brand and Kaman struggling early on.

I don't think you'll get value from Martin just because of the name; these guys are better to plug in and play.

He is a good scorer, great FT%, and a contributor all around.

so im reading a column on hoopshype.com that sarge from dropping dimes wrote.

http://hoopshype.com/fantasy/focus.htm

and hes talking abotu selling on kevin martin for midround value, and that hes a sell candidate. i like martin, and he is certainly a sell candidate, but i think his #'s are a trend and he will continue to put up good #'s in FG FT stls and points with a three a game.

opinions on martin as a sell candidate and what type of players could he bring in a h2h league? r jefferson? how about deron williams? josh smith?

Terrance: just saw your Bobby Simmons Q in another thread. I owned Simmons for a while last year and I liked his game. He is the type of guy with sneaky value; he doesn't excel in any one category but he won't hurt you anywhere. His percentages are decent, he made a lot more threes last year, and occasionally he'll have a 3 or 4-steal game as a nice bonus.

That said, I probably wouldn't pick him up right now except in deeper leagues. Heel problems worry me, and even though it sounds like they're being cautious with him, he's out for three to four more weeks and probably won't be 100% for a few weeks after that. I like him, but he's just not good enough for me to waste a roster spot on him for that long. If he does look healthy when he gets back, I would grab him quickly, though.

i wasnt saying that, but thats a helluva question right now. almost as hard as yr mobley or r davis q lol. i have felton and id keep him over davis as i think he will get his #'s up. but i like ricky davis more than mobley (the only player who you could get rid of). so basically my advice to you is to hold on to who you have and ride out the storm because felton is big time if knight goes down or if he (felton) gets a few more shots

yeah bub, im with andy...how is krstic and wilcox available in yr league!?!? whos on yr bench because krstic needs to be picked up for sure and wilcox depending on yr team needs, but thats two top 10 C right now, im sure you know that. but why havent you added them? whos on yr bench?

Terrance: are you saying you'd drop Felton for Davis? I don't have anyone else really droppable, the end of my bench includes Battier, Mobley, and newly-acquired Jarrett Jack.

Bublitchki, Z's minutes have been limited by foul trouble and a dislocated finger in his last game. He's usually a slow starter; he might be in for a down year but he finished last year as a top-50 player in 9-cat leagues and is not waiver-wire fodder.

However, I can't believe Krstic and Wilcox are available in your league. They should be on rosters even in the shallowest leagues, IMO. Is there any other way to get them onto your roster and ride them for a while until Z comes around?
