thanks for the reply. I ended up doing it anyhow.
AK might be terrible, but I'm not sure if boozer and barbosa can be this good for the entire season.
buy low, sell high possibility. Thanks, Patrick

I would have a tough time going after kirilenko right now, he could be a total wash this year it looks like. and battier is underperforming, too ... why give up 2 guys who are doing fine for two who aren't? I understand you need blocks but don't sacrifice overall value to get them.

Hi,

I'm absolutely DYING for blocks, as all my centers are Boozer, Harrington, Chandler, and Bynum. Would you do:

Boozer and Barbosa for

Battier and Kirilenko?

Also, what do you think of Bynum? He worth keeping, or should I replace him with Darko?

Thanks!

You gotta hang in there with Battier. I mean, coming into tonight's game he was at #80 on the player rater. He was the 65th pick in my draft and went on average 97th in ESPN drafts. And he's not really doing anything yet. Battier's never going to astound you, but the numbers add up to make him valuable. It happens every year. He's still finding his place in Houston, just give him a bit more time.

I can't be the only Battier owner watching the game tonight and getting extremely worried. He's playing decent defense (taking charges and contesting jumpers) but he's doing absolutely nothing from a fantasy perspective. He was supposed to be the #3 offensive option on the Rockets this year but he is just not looking for his shot, like, AT ALL.

As I type this, he is 1-4 from the field (all threes) and 1-2 from the line, with 2 rebounds and absolutely no other stats except a turnover in 31 minutes. His value doesn't lie in his scoring, but this is ridiculous. Plus, he's barely rebounding at all this year. How patient should I be? Will he start producing?

Rook,
I agree, and think that Kevin Martin is much more likely to stay in the top-30 than Barbosa.

Terry or Cassell or R.Hamilton could be nice targets.

The nuanced sell high thoughts are exactly what I need right now, as a Kevin Martin, Barbosa, and Wilcox owner. You're right that it's hard to conceive of unloading K-Mart for a more proven, boring player like Jason Terry, but I guess that objectively that might be correct. I figure Barbosa is at more of an unrealistic peak than K-Mart, so maybe I'll see what I can get for him. I can probably get a decent #3 guard at this point.

Min,
Looks like you've got 4 centers, but only 2 PGs.
I'd drop Mohammed for either Claxton or J.Williams.

go for Claxton if you need steals...go for J.Williams if you need 3's.
