Anyone watching any Raptors games? I'm intrigued by Bargnani - though he probably only got more minutes than Garbajosa today because of the blowout, I'm liking the numbers he's put up over the last week, right when his minutes increased - 12.4 points, 3.4 boards, 1.4 threes and 1.0 blocks, with only 1 TO per game and he made every free throw he took. Those numbers over his last five are very Danny Granger-esque except he's making his free throws (though he doesn't shoot many) and doing it with about 8 minutes less a game. For anyone that has watched a Raptors game recently, how has he looked? I've only been able to look at box scores, so I can't tell how involved he really is in the offense.

oops, posted this question in the last thread while I was reading that, here's what I posted:

Hey guys, I’m in a 14 team league, couple of my players are extremely underperforming lately, please tell me your opinion on if I should make the following changes through the WW:

Drop:

Fred Jones or Hedo or Kendrick Perkins

for

Jose Garbajosa or Marvin Williams or Smush Parker or Dorell Wright

thanks a lot

OK lots of questions here, let's see if I can get through them.

OB - I'll do a BSH on Charlotte next week as there are a few interesting things going on there, so i'll hold back on the Morrison debate for now. of the three i'd drop childress first and i wouldn't drop either of the others for hughes.

arpit - drop aldridge for darko, that's an easy choice. and while you've got a lot of bigs you've only got 3 that really can contribute on a nightly basis. Think quality over quantity.

ken - well i think you overpaid for Jamison but at the same time having the hometown fave on your squad is a must. I've got Caron Butler and he's the only one making wizards games watchable right now. i don't think Zack's minutes will be affected by Prz and Magloire, though.

Jeremy, yes I think Battier will improve and he's got such sneaky value that he's actually contributing very well right now! Imagine if he finds a role in that offense? I'd be worried a little about Bonzi but I'd still take Battier over Wilcox. As for peja, your tram is crazy stacked but I'd drop Milicic for him, no question you've gotta drop someone for him. Although if you're that far back in waivers it probably won't matter.

Do you guys not think that Battier will improve? Even though he has been struggling, he is rated at #52 in my league after his good game last night. Plus, if TMac goes down he'll definately be more valuable. In contrast, I'm worried about Bonzi taking minutes. I still have the Waiver Claim on him giving up Chris Wilcox (who other then rebounding doesn't really contribute much in any area...though he is a center).

Also, Peja, for some reason, just hit my waiver wire. I'm sitting near last in the waivers due to my high draft spot, but I'm wondering whom I should give up for him. You can see my roster by looking at the comments from YESTERDAY, as I don't want to post them again. Thanks for any help and consideration.

Hey Guys - I think this site is great, read it everyday!

I just traded Randolph and Mourning for Jamison. Since Shaq is back at the end of the month, my thinking was Randolph for Jamison. I know Randolph is playing his best ball in a few years, but with Pryz and Maglore back, Zachs rebounds and minutes will be cut. Jaminson will get minutes for the Wizards. Besides, I have to get at least 1 Wizard on my team every year(native Washintonian). Any thoughts?

hey guys great job on this site i love it.

joe played for the team USA and he certainly got better in his scoring. He is doing everything i wanted from him when i drafted him in the 5th round. But he is shooting only 69% from the free throw line this year. Should i be concerned about this or will he improve later in the year. He shot like 80 % last year.

My team is loaded with big guys but i up losing rebs, blk, %s almost every week. I have Yao, Okur, Biedrins, Kwame, Garbajosa, evans, and aldridge. Should i drop aldrige, who will get way less minutes right now, for darko. I might pick him up later when portland loses alot of its games and it has nothing to do but put in their young guys to get them ready for the following year.

bublitchki, I like AI2 (obviously) but I wouldn't trade Odom for him.

Iguodala is currently averaging career highs in points, boards, assists, and steals. If you believe he can keep it up, that trade might be worth it, particularly if you need the steals. However, if you believe he'll regress to his career averages (as bv does) then you would regret giving up a player like Odom.

Iguodala was nearly a top-50 player last year and from the games I've seen he is definitely more active on the court this year, so I believe the breakout is real. However, even if he keeps this up his value won't be that much higher than Odom's, so it's not worth taking the chance on him.

I completely agree. Odom is far better (fantasy and real life) than Iguodala.

bublitchki, did you read the Sports Guy's column on ESPN today? He feels the same way about Iggy that I do. Basically, he hasn't improved at all over the past 2 years - still the same player. I wouldn't trade odom for him. no way.
