I think RJ has earned the benefit of the doubt to expect him to play to his career averages the rest of the way -- 19/7/3 or so, with solid percentages and middling specialty stats. He's the kind of guy that helps a good fantasy team a lot more than he helps a bad fantasy team, if that makes any sense. Also, if anyone's been reading the rumors about the Nets, I think it's him. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Al for 'Zo? Tough call, for exactly the reason you stated. Still, don't use a possible trade to Philly as a rationale against it. Maybe BV will have more on the AI situation tomorrow, but personally -- and this is based on nothing -- I can't see him ending up in the East. Sacramento and L.A. seem most likely to me. Again, based on no actual evidence.

I like RJ as a buy-low candidate - especially with the announcement that they are returning to the old ball. His percentages should trend closer to his career percents if he's truly healthy.

I'm still stuck on the Al Jefferson thing. I need a replacement for Zo eventually - should I toss him now, and miss out on 3 more weeks of block heaven (this is a h2h league), for someone who has the potential to produce well, or be fairly useless if he ends up behind Webber on the 76ers' depth chart?

Speaking of Jeffersons, what's Richard Jefferson's value like these days? I was offered RJ and Mike Bibby for my Steve Nash, which might have looked good in the preseason but sure doesn't look doable now with Nash playing out of his mind.

RJ's obviously underperforming, as his numbers are way down across the board. If I make a counteroffer, can I assume he's still shaking off rust from his ankle injury and will start putting up numbers like last year's?

I certainly wouldn't drop Brad Miller for him now that he's back and looking pretty good. Ilgauskas would be tempting to let go, though. I'd certainly rather have Jefferson for this week, but can't say for certain for the next two/three months.

I have been trying to find a place for Jefferson for two weeks. He's a FA in the two leagues I'm in, but my only drop options are Ilgauskas and Brad Miller. I've been trying to do a 2 for 1 to free up space, but no one is biting. Would you waive either of these guys for Jefferson, or should I keep trying to wrangle something and cross my fingers he doesn't get grabbed?

Thanks for the site. First time commenting.
