jeremy, there's not really any signs of webber having much value any time soon - i think you hold on to barnes until he slows down.

Alright, so exciting news. I just grabbed Josh Smith off waivers. I know he's injured (and adds to my lineup of Camby, Pierce, & David West) but he'll be invaluable down the stretch IMO.

My real question is who to hang onto. I just dropped Chris Webber for him, because I am fed up with the inconsistent production and his troubles with Cheeks and the team. However, looking at his averages, they still aren't that bad (other than FG%), and the only other player I'd consider dropping for him is my newly acquired Matt Barnes, whom I'm afraid could lose much of his value once the Warriors get healthy.

Whatcha think? See if I can swap Barnes for Webber when/if he clears waivers, or leave it be and use Matt Barnes until he cools off and then grab the next player of the moment?

Thanks.

Jeremy, via rotoworld, I read that Webber's falling out of favor in Philly. Not sure how trustworthy the article source is, and it's not a Philly writer, but for what it's worth, here's the link.

In general, it does seem that Cheeks gets annoyed at his players and benches them from time to time.

Any word on what the deal is with Chris Webber? He had a great game the other night putting up 19/8 with 3 blocks and 3 steals. Tonight he puts up 4 points in only 12 minutes? Is he hurt again, because it is really frustrating right now.

And it leaves me with a conundrum. Josh Smith was recently thrown to the waivers, and while I am unsure of I will be able to snag him, should I put Chris Webber or Matt Barnes out for him?

At first I put out Barnes because I just picked him up for Nenad Krstic and I figured his PT would go down when the Warriors are healthy. However, he has been playing great lately and I don't know how much PT he'll lose to Ellis, Dunleavy and Murphy when they come back and are healthy.

However, if Webber is going to be hurt/inactive for a long time, I'd consider dropping him instead. Regardless, hopefully I'll be able to pickup Josh Smith with the waiver.

But still, what is the deal with Webber and his twelve minute performance?
