Jack might just be droppable. Roy is really cutting into his production -- he loves to have the ball and Jack is willing to accomodate. Jack's early season steals surge has subsided, and that was giving him some extra value. I hesitate to say it, but Jason Williams is looking like a better option right now. The Heat seem to be revitalized and Williams is at least a consistent source of 3s. You can't argue with the play of Matt Carroll or Jason Kapono lately, but not sure they can sustain it.

Wilcox for Mutombo? I just don't know if I can pull the trigger on that one unless you have a real chance to move up in blocks. Mutombo's been great lately, and Wilcox, like most Sonics is inconsistent, but he's played 83 minutes in his last two games. I've realized this year that players who just don't score can hurt you more than you think, so keep that in mind.

And based on today's game, I'd say a big fat no to that question about Childress. Especially with the PG situation very much up in the air, since he's their de facto PG with Lue and Claxton out. Childress is a very, very good player. He is a classic glue guy out there and the Hawks need that. He'll be fine.

And yes ... HIBACHI!!!!

Also: does Childress' value take a hit with the Hawks frontcourt returning to health?

Loved the column. I have a complete advice question: Would you trade away Wilcox for the crazily resurgent Mutombo? I'm leaning yes.

Jarrett Jack: droppable in a shallow league?

Sergio Rodriguez' performance last night was only a partial fluke. He is #2 in the NBA in assists per 48 minutes behind Steve Nash. Plus, Brandon Roy handles the ball a lot.

Despite 1 3pg and 1 spg, I just don't see Jack regaining the value he had earlier this year. I've watched several games and he simply disappears for stretches, which is tough to do for a PG. Now he's likely out for a week with a concussion, and I dominate assists anyway in my H2H league.

Attractive wire options abound such as Matt Carroll, Quentin Richardson, Jason Kapono, Luther Head, Rasual Butler, Anthony Parker, Andrew Bynum, and Jason Williams. I have a balanced team, but scoring is my main weakness. Any thoughts?
