Not sure which West you're talking about, but it doesn't matter. Go with West. Just don't see Daniels doing all that much once the new guys get settled in, although I'd put him above Turkoglu, especially if you can't afford bad FG%. Hedo's a truly awful shooter, and one of my very least favorite players in the league, FWIW.

there are three free agents that i can't pick among. Marquis Daniels, Hedo, and West

my team is strong in all categories except for FG% and 3%. sometimes 3's made. Daniels might be a good steal and hedo can give me threes but i cant afford to get bad fg%. who should i pick?

The assists are awesome, the 3s are solid, but man, it's another example of a guy who will just kill you in FG% the more he plays. He's almost been as much of a killer there as he's been an asset in assists. And I have to think Ridnour gets his job back soon. He's startable, for sure, but not someone to be too excited about.

Don't drop Z, don't drop Yao. That's that.

I had a bad feeling about Miller at the start of the year and nothing that's happened so far has changd that. He's had lots of mishaps and hasn't been able to get into a good groove, missing games, coming off the bench, etc. There was one stretch in December when he was out there starting every night and was pretty effective, if not quite at his peak level. Not sure he can get to 14/8/5, especially with SAR and Corliss playing good minutes. The Kings are a mess.

Answer: don't drop Yao. Unless you're in my league (CBSSportsline, "Darko for MVP") in which case my advice is to drop him since he's weighing down your team. Any thoughts on Brad Miller? Can he get to 14/8/5 this year?

Has anyone else heard any news on Yao? The last thing I read said he'd be back mid/late March, which is right about when the fantasy playoffs in my H2H league starts. Should I stash him away and hope that he comes back or should I cut bait and go for someone like Chris Webber or Chris Wilcox?

Obviously if I had Yao for the fantasy playoffs I would be in a very dominent position, and I shouldn't compromise my ability to get into the playoffs by keeping him on the bench. Thanks.

dave, my advice would be NOT to dump Z...I had him last year and although he can be frustrating with off-nights/injuries, he's a very solid center. Blount has been playing well this year, but I'd drop him for Murphy if you think someone would pick up Murphy before he has a chance to put up numbers.

On the topic of Ilgauskus, I traded him and Lebron for Caron Butler, Deron Williams, and Brad Miller. Deron and Caron have been great, but what is going on with Miller? Do ya'll think he's just old and slow, or is he out of game shape from injuries/illness/'personal issues'? I watched him play last night, and he looked like a 75-year old man laboring just to get his inertia going one way! He was barely moving during half-court sets!

I love this site. You guys do a great job of. My league has a few of these guys in the free agent market and I'm thinking about 2 of them - Murphy and Granger. I had Murphy for awhile but his DNP's were driving me crazy and I dumped him. My two weakest big men are Z and Blount who has done surprisingly well, and Z (except for last night) has been strong. Before the trade I wouldn't have done this, but now I'm wondering how their new values will be. Would you dump Z or Blount for either Murphy or Granger. I could use but don't necessarily need the extra 3's in my H2H league. I do need Z's blocks.
