Nobody's mentioned Bibby. He's got a player option this year and can't seem to find the basket (though it isn't bothering his shot). If he were shooting .450 I'd be way up in the standings. What are the prospects he'll turn it on in the second half of the season?

Also: What do you think of a deal Deng and Bibby for Mike Miller? I'd get 2 maybe 3 points in steals, move Jarrett Jack to sub for Bibby, and wouldn't lose anything in rebounds thanks to Randolph, Biedrins, and Josh Smith pulling them down. This is a 10-team, 8-cat roto league.

Well, I'd probably take the KG + Turk for TMac and Amare.

Granted, Tmac and Amare still have the 'injury' prone tag based on their heath over the last year, but they've been playing really well lately. With KG you always have to wonder if he's gonna shut it down when they are out of the playoff picture in a few months. That won't be the case for Amare or TMac. Also, Amare and Tmac are low-round value, while KG is a top player and Turgolu is a waiver guy.

Usually you want to get the best player in the trade, but I think this is pretty good and I'd do it from looking at the rest of your lineup. You might get hurt a bit with Tmac's FG%, but he'll get some more threes and can makeup for the assists that you'll lose from KG going out. Amare helps a bunch of FG%, however, I don't know if he's more valuable than KG.

I tend to like "production", and the numbers that a healthy Tmac and Amare put up are far superior to that of KG and Hedo.

So you know where I stand.

I'll remain skeptical on Villanueva. It doesn't sound like his injury actually healed, just that the pain has subsided a bit. If the Bucks fall out of the playoff race I can see him shutting it down. He does love to shoot and rack up stats when he's out there, we know that he can be plenty productive. But he's still going to be a clear #3 option when Redd comes back. Not someone I'd really be targeting in a trade, at least not giving up someone I wouldn't drop to the waiver wire.

What do you expect from Villanueva going forward? I was psyched to see he had a few good lines since he came back, but the Bucks have been blown out a lot so those games are hard to rely on.

dave LO F'ing L. great column idea. When does a fun game become an OCD? i probably spend 10-15 hours a week on basketball monster, checking my league board and monitoring FA's. its really sick, and sometimes i feel bad for paying so much attention. id also like a demographic breakdown of ages and time spent on leagues. im 25/m/caucasian/non-smoker/drinker.

Wow I would have taken that trade!

I have Mo and Lewis, so I do hope they finish strong. I've been trying to trade for Wallace too.

But don't listen to me I just foolishly turned down a trade -- Nowitski was offered for Wade. After his 23/24 FT performance I'm riding him the rest of the season. I have decided that Wade will be the most valuable fantasy playoff player come playoffs as he plays in 4 games during the quarter and semi finals -- and his team will be fighting for a playoff spot so he will see plenty of action.

Here's a column idea for you guys-- How much time should one spend on their fanatsy teams a week. I figured out between reading your blog, posting crap on the team pages, surfing for players and trades, managing my rosters so that I get the right guys in for my match up that week, that I spend close to 20 hours a week. The worst part is that I'm only in 3 leagues!

one last thing, nash is not worth garnett. i can give you the "depends on yr team needs" answer, but i wont. garnett gets you 4 ass/game from teh PF position, keep garnett adn find assists production from a cheaper source

1)really depends on if the league is roto or h2h. if h2h, id say that johnson and amare are more valuable because team depth is more important in a h2h.

if a roto, then id take garnett if the rest of my team was solid. but i wouldnt take yr offer of garnett for jj and amare, giving up too much talent. but its not a terrible offer on yr part

2) Wow, id run it though basketball monster and do a trade and team analysis and see how much better or worse yr team gets. but i think id do that trade if mcgrady is over his injuries and all that. i havent paid much attention to mcgrady so i dont know how he is w injuries this season.

3) Id rather have tmac and amare than this deal.

I'm very excited about the return of Lewis. He'll be a beast (maybe not right away).

Here's my team:

PG: Terry, Mo Williams, Ford
SG: Kobe
SF: Lewis, Deng, Turk
PF: Millsap, Garnett
C: Miller, Ilgauskas

I'm 2nd in Assists, 1st in Points and Boards, 2nd in steals. I need 3s, Blocks and FG%.

I was recently offered J. Johnson and Amare for Garnett and Deng. I rejected it, and countered with Garnett for Johnson and Amare. He rejected it. 3 Questions:

1) Is Garnett more valuable than both Johnson and Amare?

2) He just countered with McGrady and Amare for Garnett and Turkoglu. Should I take it?

3) Should I offer Garnett and Terry for Nash and Amare (this all began with him offering Garnett for Nash - is that worth it)?

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks all y'all
