Have you seen what the kid has done is some of his recent starts? Not only will be produce defensive numbers, but he'll chip in some threes as well. Look at the moves Memphis makes in the offseason, but I have a feeling Gay will be the guy who would get "Sophomore of the Year" next year if they had the award. I own Roy and Martin and have watched lots of kings games on TV and Blazers games on TV (and in person),. I think your assessments of Roy,Martin and Aldridge are spot on. I play in one keeper league (with an auction) and another whole category of good keeper players turns out to be "veterans who were hurt last season or at the start of this one and went for much cheaper than they ordinarily would have". The best example is probably Paul Gasol, who went for something like $7 in my league this year and would likely be worth $11-$12 next. Jason Richardson, Stephon Marbury, and of course, Amare Stoudemire are all potential keepers as well in auction type leagues. Let me just say good list.
