If Mo Pete gets back to his form from 05-06, and there isn't a reason he shouldn't, then he'll have more value than Mike James. It's a difficult situation. I don't like playing people who aren't starters on their own team (unless it's Manu or Barbosa). With Francis, Brooks, Alston, and maybe even Head competing for PG time, this is a horrible time-share situation. Granted, I think they'll use James as a spark plug off the bench. If James gets starters minuets then go ahead and use him...but I might wait it out a bit unless you're that concerned James will be gone.

EC,

The one area you're probably hurting the most will be in FG% You don't have that many bigs, especially not the variety that (1) shoot high FG% and (2) put up a lot of shots. This is what happens when you go small with several of your first picks.

As for where you need help, I think you might have some big man issues. I don't completely trust Darko yet, and with injury concerns to Miller, Bosh and Dalembert, this may be an area of struggle for you this year.

One guy you may be able to sell-high is McCants. He'll get lots of PT while Foye is out, and he should put up decent numbers until Randy's return. Other than that, I'm not sure off the top of my head. You seem to be decent in categories like assists, 3's etc. I would worry about the big man categories, whether due to injuries or not.

Hey guys, since we're evaluating teams here...can you guys look at mine?

Gilbert Arenas
Joe Johnson
Kirk Hinrich
Richard Jefferson
Chris Bosh
Darko Millicic
Brad Miller
Anthony Parker
Samuel Dalembert
Hedo Turkoglu
Rashd McCants
Devin Harris
Wally Szczerbiak
Paul Millsap

Who are good guys to aim for in trades? Where do I need to improve the most?

John,

I would say that it depends on your needs, the type of league your in, and what positions you need to fill.

Williams is on a funny team that has a bunch of guys up front and he might lose some burn time because of it.

Brewer should provide you with decent percentages, points, about 2-3 assists per night (due to the fact that he has Boozer to finish) and 1+ steal per night. It's the 1+ steal per night that's the bonus, as it is a scarce fantasy category. Plus he'll get a little more burn keeping him on the floor more.

Finally, look at their position eligibility in your league to help you decide. Position flexibility matters.

guys, i have a quick yet pressing question. Kind of a weird comparison, but who is going to have a better year: Marvin Williams or Ronnie Brewer? They are both late round picks, but often its these that end up giving you the extra boost. I don't see williams as much more than a scorer and light rebounder, esp. with horford in town now. And I want to say Ronnie Brewer has the potential to put up numbers a la Tony Allen at his peak last year...whaddya say? Do I drop williams for Brewer?

Hey Jeremy,

Thanks for the advice. We actually only start one center, three guards (it doesn't matter what kind of guard), 3 forwards, and 3 utility guys and 4 bench spots.

It's a little screwy, I know, but that's why I only took 2 centers.

This might help explain my drafting a little better.

As for the Peterson pick...I messed up and I know it, especially with Mobley having been there at the time. He's the one guy who I'll likely drop first and instead, grab last year's version of Mikki Moore or Nick Collison to fill another centre spot.

Any thoughts on who that might be? Also, do you think Blatche might get C eligibility?
