Yahoo! added C eligibility for Blatche and Williams (and Maceo Boston, but if you even consider picking him up I pity you :P); Blatche was taken but I grabbed Williams as his per-minute block numbers are drool-worthy and I have to believe he'll get his minutes in the end.

On the high-upside theme, does anyone think that Jamario Moon is for real? He is averaging 35 mpg over the last 5 and is putting up solid all-around numbers, with great blocks from the SF spot. I don't see Raptors games so I can't even speculate on how a 27-year old rookie who I'd never even heard of two weeks ago will peerform long-term.

I haven't seen enough of Sean Williams to know for sure, but both BV and I (Wizards nuts, as you know) believe that Blatche can be a star in this league. Not this year and maybe not next year, but he has all the talent you could ask for. Even the majority of his bad plays happen because he's trying to make a positive play. The Wizards are a thin squad so Blatche will see minutes and he should qualify at center. He is an extremely active player. I like him a little better than Williams at this point.

I think that Hinrich/Deng/Carter will turn it around, although it might be more of a 2008 thing than a December thing. I still think I might take a chance on Navarro, especially if you need 3s.

Juan Carlos Navarro helped me out big time. I've been playing in these new daily fantasy basketball contests and was able to buy him on Saturday for 10 points. He scored me 33 fantasy points...he's a great value play.

I agree there's a good chance Navarro will start over Milicic when he comes back.

Excellent article.

I'm in an 11-team league with 10 starters and 4 bench spots. I've had 3 of the 4 you mentioned, on my roster at some point this (Maxiell,Navarro, Tyrus)

At this point my bench consists of Blatche, A.Daniels, D.Gibson, J.Jack

Having a good bench has helped me survive the awful starts for Hinrich,Deng and V.Carter

Gibson's been good enough to start all year (top 50 value on player rater). Daniels looks like he'll be a solid starter (top 75) while Gil's out. Blatche is my upside guy, and Jack is my solid fill-in.

A couple questions:
How do you think Blatche compares to Sean Williams, in terms of upside?

The categories I need the most help in are the same ones that Hinrich/Deng/Carter have killed me in: pts and 3s (all 3 have had a big drop in pts this year, and 2 of the 3 have had a big drop in 3s)

So the choice is either to stand pat and pray that Hinrich/Deng/Carter at least approach their value from last year in pts and 3s,or add I could more upside bench guys, i.e. drop Jarrett Jack for Navarro

Any thoughts?
