There are only a couple real differences between the two. Davis gets you about 3 more pts per game and a few more 3's, whereas Nelson gets you 4.5 assists more a game. Recently, however, Davis has been playing a little better than Nelson--who has struggled big time his last 3 games. Combine that with the fact that Davis is a bigger scoring threat (goes 20+ often) on a struggling Heat team and that he averages 5 more minutes a game, and I would definitely go with Davis. If you don't mind losing a few assists, I see no reason why you shouldn't make the trade. I would. He is doing nothing but holding Blatche back. Blatche will be the better player so i had hoped him to challenge for the starting spot but he seems to be getting less minutes.
