Give it up for Travis Diener who is quietly coming on strong (no backup in site and Tinsley pulling his annual disappearing act).

glad to see your back

i think yao is now officially a liability for managers every year until he retires. or at least you'll have to give it a second thought before drafting him with a top pick

i'm just happy marcus camby hasn't got severely injured yet this year (knocking on all the wood i can find)

hinrich was benched for the second half of the indiana game. the coach was trying to make a point. i understand you got hughes and gooden, but the bulls new starting lineup should be

hinrich
thabo
deng
thomas
noah

for better or worse, its got to be them. the bulls are an 8 seed right now, or something like that. play the young guys and see what happens. they have to make a decision on thomas soon

Terrance,

Has Hinrich been benched? It seems that he's still starting, and although his production hasn't been great of late he did recently have back to back 10 assist games. As for Caron, you're right things are not looking good. If they can't contend this year, I'm not sure they should risk his health, as Jamison and Arenas could be gone after this season.

i got hinrich for marvin williams earlier this season in a trade. obviosuly i didnt win, it was a draw. unless youre in a keeper, id say to move hinrich. The bulls rotation is up in the air and with hinrichs recent benching, id say its time to move him for someone less sought after. Id honestly take rafer alson over hinrich right now. If you can get andre miller (doubtful), do that.

trade caron buter if you can. he decided to not have surgery, but who knows when he'll be backl. stephen jackson wouldnt be a bad replacement in my opinion. I doubt youd be able to get him though

I believe its high time that for Luis Scola to step up his game.

I know he can fill in the gap and take the Rockets to the next level.

Is there any comments from anyone out there on this....would like to hear them.

Well, here's the issue. Brand has a player option for next year, but can opt out and become a free agent this summer. If Brand plays, that can show other teams he is worth a big contract, and thus Brand could leave this summer for nothing. Conversely, if Brand is healthy and says "play me" but the Clippers don't, he very well might opt out simply to spite the team for not respecting his wishes.

In any case, the Clippers pretty much have to bow down to Brand's wishes if they hope to keep him past next summer with quite a few teams poised to have serious cap space (for example, the Heat could add him to Wade and Marion).

You're alive! I thought the next update was going to mention you guys shutting the site down.

Why the hell would the Clips let Brand come back? I'm not saying they won't, but it just makes zero sense, logically speaking.
